“The Beast”

Some shots of the supercell that lashed out along Bundaberg region recently. I was driving home from town after a photoshoot and saw the black sky. Decided to drive up the Hummock Lookout and what a scene it was. Even though it created a lot of debris on the roads and cut off a lot of electricity supply (still 14,000 house holds still at this time), it is a beautiful scene to watch. As beautiful as it is, I only stayed there for about 20 mins max as it was getting way too close for comfort. Thinking of everyone who got severely affected and hope everyone’s safe.

Feel free to share guys.

The cirrus clouds below are from Singleton NSW taken mid November and the cumulous ones were taken in Maleny late October

Whenever these clouds (Last picture) appear you can always guarantee that there will will be storm activity not very far away
In this case it occurred about a half hour later
They are only there for a short time and then flatten out and disappear that is the shap.  – Robert Tindal Maleny
